About

My name is Carla Paiva and I'm an experienced education advisor, transformational mentor, and the founder of DragonFLY Portugal.  

My inspiration to motivate and propel young people to own their process of self-awakening and personal realization, was born out of my research of young people's struggles against Apartheid in South Africa, writing on and working with people affected by war in Mozambique and coordinating a transnational program for the internationalization of higher education in the Community of Portuguese Speaking Countries. 

I hold the firm belief that societies thrive when individuals know who they are, plan ahead and intentionally invest in themselves, towards fulfilling their destinies, thereby leaving their thumb prints in their worlds. 

DragonFLY offers transformational programs to awaken and empower, one CHILD, one YOUTH at a time who believe they have the power within to FLY and thrive. Together we'll create a world of optimum human potential.
